I had to part with my 64 conv after the birth of my first son and had to wait **** years to get another but now is the time. Having a limited budget to work with I began the search of my dream car. I spent two years looking at ads all over the country. Finally I found it in my own back yard. This was it, a '74 Stingray in cherry condition with all original parts, AM-FM pushbutton radio, leather seats and all. This car even had new tires and not too many miles on the engine; 90,000 on this 350 is low miles in my opinion. I was almost disappointed that it needed no repairs! All that I need to do to this car is to chrome everything under the hood. That is the plan for the winter. Oh yeah, you may find this hard to believe but my budget was $6000 and I had change left over.
